1. Central aperture (CB)

2. Pit circle diameter (PCD)

3. Offset (OFFSET)

The offset value of a car is generally positive, and this value has a great influence on the driving stability of the car and the tracking of cornering. It is determined by the original factory and cannot be changed unless special needs.

4. Diameter and width

The diameter determines the size of the rim. Since the speedometer reading of a car is measured according to the wheel speed, if the wheel diameter is too large, the speedometer reading will be too small. An excessively large wheel diameter will also rub on the wheel arch and the fender. Therefore, it is better to upgrade the wheel hub to 1 inch larger than the original factory, no more than 2 inches, and it should be matched with thin tires to ensure that the size of the whole wheel is about the same as before the upgrade.

Width affects which tires are used after the upgrade. Too wide tires will reduce the starting speed and consume more fuel. The common values correspond to: 185mm wide tires correspond to 5 inch wide rims; 195mm corresponds to 6 inches; 205mm corresponds to 6.5 inches; 215 corresponds to 7 inches.
